Abstract

Desain industrial hadir sebagai bahasa visual yang kuat dalam merancang ruang kafe, menawarkan perpaduan antara estetika material ekspos dan suasana ruang yang terbuka. Tulisan ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana konsep industrial diterjemahkan dalam desain Kopitagram Bogor, sebuah kafe yang memadukan beton ekspos, baja hitam, dan kayu alami untuk menciptakan atmosfer hangat sekaligus tegas. Identitas visual yang dibangun melalui permainan tekstur kasar, pencahayaan alami, serta tata letak ruang yang terbuka menghadirkan pengalaman ruang yang khas bagi pengunjung. Meski berhasil membangun karakter ruang yang kuat, desain ini tetap menghadirkan tantangan dalam aspek kenyamanan akustik dan sirkulasi ruang. Studi ini menjadi refleksi tentang pentingnya menyeimbangkan antara ekspresi estetika industrial dengan kebutuhan fungsional ruang kafe, menghadirkan inspirasi bagi perancang untuk menciptakan ruang yang tidak hanya menarik secara visual, tetapi juga nyaman dan responsif terhadap penggunanya.
