Post-Publication Discussion Policy
Jurnal Lingkungan Binaan Indonesia (JLBI) welcomes constructive scholarly comments, critical observations, and responses concerning articles published in the journal. Post-publication discussion aims to promote scholarly dialogue and maintain the quality, transparency, and integrity of the published record.
1. Scope and Submission
JLBI considers comments addressing the findings, methods, interpretations, evidence, or implications of published articles. Comments must be relevant, evidence-based, and professionally presented.
Submissions should identify the article concerned, explain the issue raised, provide supporting evidence or references where relevant, and disclose any conflicts of interest. Comments may be submitted to the editorial office through the official contact information provided on the journal website.
2. Editorial Assessment
The editorial team evaluates comments for relevance, scholarly merit, accuracy, and compliance with publication ethics. The editor may request revisions, consult an independent expert, invite a response from the original authors, or decline a submission that does not meet the journal's standards. Peer review may be applied when necessary.
3. Right of Reply and Publication
Authors of the original article may be invited to respond to substantive comments. Both comments and responses must be relevant, evidence-based, and professionally written.
Accepted comments and responses may be published as separate scholarly contributions and linked to the original article where technically feasible.
4. Ethical Concerns and Editorial Actions
Comments identifying possible errors, unreliable findings, or research misconduct will be assessed appropriately. Where necessary, JLBI may request clarification, seek independent advice, or refer the matter to the relevant institution.
Issues requiring formal correction, an Expression of Concern, or retraction will be handled in accordance with JLBI's Retraction, Withdrawal, and Correction (R-W-C) Policy.
5. Ethical Standards
All contributors must communicate respectfully, provide accurate information, cite relevant sources, disclose conflicts of interest, and respect confidentiality. JLBI reserves the right to decline submissions that violate these standards.
For post-publication comments or inquiries, please contact the JLBI editorial office through the official contact information provided on the journal website.
